20th EDAMBA Summer Research Academy
Date: 20-26 July, 2011
Venue: Sorèze - France

Sponsored by the EDAMBA Organisation.
Addressed to Doctoral students in Management and Business Administration.

There will be two streams at this Summer Academy

Initial Stages Stream
Summer Academy Stream for students in the initial stages of their doctoral studies
Theme: ‘Formulating a research project and developing the research design’

&

Advanced Stream
Summer Academy Stream for more advanced doctoral students
Theme: ‘The theory, data/empirical base/evidence and practice relationship’


Programme

1. Workshops on research papers presented by the participants.
2. Seminars and lectures on the Theory and Practice of Business Research.
3. Faculty will be available for discussion in most of the functional areas.

On successful completion of the Summer Academy students will be awarded 5 ECTS credits.

Expenses and Fee

The participation cost for each student from EDAMBA member Universities is 850 Euros incl. French VAT. This payment will cover all meals and accommodation. There are no other costs for EDAMBA member Universities to pay because the Summer Academy is being subsidised by EDAMBA. For students from non-EDAMBA member Universities there will be an extra fee of 600 Euros incl. French VAT (total 1.450 Euros incl.VAT).

Travel expenses are not covered and will be the responsibility of the participants or their institution (apart from a bus transfer from the airport/railway station which is included in the price).
