1st Kent Business School International PhD Conference

The PhD Students of Kent Business School (University of Kent) are organising the 1st International Doctoral Conference “Socialising Business Research: Connecting and Advancing Knowledge” (SBR2017). SBR2017 is organised by research students for research students with the aim to connect PhD students from business schools across Europe and beyond. Research socialisation will take place within the interdisciplinary business context, where PhD students across all years of study will be exposed to a wide range of business research topics, developing an appreciation for different perspectives, methods and theories. Formal and informal events will provide opportunities to network with fellow PhDs, academics and industry professionals. Professional Development Workshops (PDW) (both field-specific and generic on methods and research skills) will provide a great opportunity for you to learn more about publishing and research methodologies within fields of study.

The Organizing Committee for the CLADEA XV Doctoral Colloquium and CSUSB - Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration, Host Institution for the 52nd Annual CLADEA Assembly 2017 invite the Doctoral Students in Management and related disciplines to participate in this Doctoral Colloquium to be held California State University of San Bernardino (CSUSB), Riverside, California on October 17th, 2017. Also, you are invited to participate from the Academic Sessions for the actual CLADEA Annual Assembly.
CLADEA Doctoral Colloquium
The Doctoral Colloquium takes place within 52nd CLADEA Annual Assembly, with the objective to offer to Doctoral Students a place to share and discuss their research work with a distinguished Academics Panel with an outstanding International Career. The works to be presented may be in the formulation stage with a discussion of the literature review or at a more advanced stage.
The Doctoral Colloquium is composed by a series of simultaneous sessions, organized according by Subject of the Accepted works, during which the Doctoral Students will present their Dissertation Proposals. The Panel members will provide guidelines and suggestions to help them to identify the strengths and weaknesses of such proposals, to improve their contents and prepare for the final defense before their Thesis Boards. Just as important, the Colloquium will let the Doctoral Students to meet distinguished Researchers, Editors of Journals, Professors and Authorities from Renowned Universities who yearly participate in The CLADEA Annual Assembly.
